Shimla: In a strategic move aimed at optimizing governance and public service delivery, the Himachal Pradesh government has reshuffle Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers. These appointments come into immediate effect and have been made with the primary aim of enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery in Himachal Pradesh.
- Vivek Chandel Assumes Dual Roles: Shri Vivek Chandel, an experienced HPAS officer, currently serving as the Director of Technical Education at Sundernagar, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has been entrusted with an additional charge as Director-cum-Warden of Fisheries, HQ at Bilaspur, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
- Jitender Sanjta Takes On Multiple Responsibilities: Shri Jitender Sanjta, HPAS (2007), previously awaiting posting, has been appointed as Additional Director of Dr. Radhakrishanan Government Medical College in Hamirpur, District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. In addition to this role, he will serve as the Administrative Officer for H.P. Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) at Hamirpur and Officer on Special Duty for the erstwhile H.P. Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur.
- Akshey Sood to Lead Technical Education: Shri Akshey Sood, HPAS (2007), currently serving as Additional Director of Technical Education at Sundernagar, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, will now be the Director of Technical Education in the same district.
- Ajit Kumar Bhardwaj’s New Role: Shri Ajit Kumar Bhardwaj, HPAS (2012), the General Manager (Administration/ Project) in SPV Shimla Smart City Ltd., Shimla, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, has been appointed as the Additional District Magistrate (Law & Order) in Shimla, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. This appointment relieves Ms. Jyoti Rana, HPAS (2012), of her additional charge as Additional District Magistrate (Protocol).
- Anupam Kumar’s Transfer: Shri Anupam Kumar, HPAS (2013), who currently holds the position of Registrar at H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur, District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, and is Officer-on-Special Duty for the erstwhile H.P. Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur, will now serve as the Additional Director of Technical Education at Sundernagar, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
- Shiv Mohan Singh Saini Assumes New Role: Shri Shiv Mohan Singh Saini, HPAS (2017), previously awaiting posting, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary (Administrative Reforms) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. This appointment relieves Shri Vijay Kumar, IAS (HP:2016), of his additional charge as Special Secretary (Tourism & Civil Aviation and Forest).
- Kamal Dev Singh Kanwar’s Appointment: Shri Kamal Dev Singh Kanwar, HPAS (2022), previously awaiting posting, has been appointed as the Registrar of H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur, District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.
Additionally, Shri Jagan Thakur, HPAS (2012), who serves as the Additional Director of Urban Development in Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, will also hold the charge of General Manager (Administration/ Project) in SPV Shimla Smart City Ltd., Shimla, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, alongside his existing responsibilities.
