Subathu, Himachal Pradesh;  Late Naresh Garg of subathu has created his indelible mark by following the path of social concern with simplicity throughout his life. Today he is no more in this world, but his personality is still alive in the minds of people. Be it education for the needy and upliftment of folk artists or any social or religious work, he extended a helping hand with good intentions. As soon as he regained consciousness, he joined Sanatan Dharma Sabha and earned fame by leading the Caravan of life.

 

Foundation of Lord Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival laid in Subathu, Identity created in Himachal


In his youth, Naresh Garg got involved in the service of Shri thakur ji temple. With his friends, Shankar Dass Gupta, Dinesh yadav, Bhopal Sharma, Vijay rasik, Ram Gopal, Suresh Gupta, Subhash Gupta, Manmohan Sharma, Raj Kanwar, Hari Chand, Dr Ramjee Dass, Ajay Sharma, Sushil Garg, Paras Ram, Parmod Marwah, laid the foundation of the procession of Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival, which is recognized in the entire state.

By playing the role of Lord Shiva and kevat, added colour of Ayodhya Nagri to Subathu


Together with the artists of Subathu, he joined Subathu kala Niketan organisation and prepared the stage of Ramleela. The artists who played the characters on this stage gave Subathu the colour of Ayodhya Nagri during their time, played the role of kewat along with Lord Shiva in Ramleela for a long time.
